What's New at Roca Milagro

January 18, 2007 Inversiones Roca Milagro S.A. is in business! Away we go... I would like to update everyone with exactly where we are in the process of bringing the Roca Milagro development to life. Phil Graul has been living in Panama since early November, 2006, and has been keeping a hectic schedule. With the help of Vianor Echevarria, our surveyor, and ‘Nacho’ Staff, the property manager (and brother of Temy Staff, one of the project partners) Phil has drafted a lot plan for the project. More about that later. Also, Phil has contracted, on behalf of the project, with the office of Edgar Castillo in Boquete, to shepherd the application process and all of the necessary studies through the regulatory system to get us the development permissions we need. In mid-December, I met with Temy Staff, the original owner of the property on which Roca Milagro will be developed, and with Phil Graul in Rovira Arriba, Panama. The purchase of the corporation holding the land in question was concluded and the corporate name was changed to Inversiones Roca Milagro S.A. A complete and comprehensive due diligence process was followed and the land and the corporation both were deemed to be clean of all liens, tax debts, and liabilities or encumbrances of any sort. Download the proposed site plan, showing our property divided into building lots here. This is basically the version we are filing for approval with the appropriate authorities in Panama. Our intent is to make every lot as natural as possible, to maintain existing trees, the orange grove, stone walls, etc., as much as is possible. December, 2006 Meet the Roca Milagro managing partners in Panama Phil Graul, the Roca Milagro corporate secretary and project engineer, now lives in Boquete, just a short drive from our development site. Phil and his wife Susan moved there recently from Colorado, and both are working towards making the Roca Milagro dream come true for us all. Sieg Pedde, president of the Roca Milagro project, and Temy Staff, vice-president, will be in the Rovira Arriba area (near David and Boquete) as well, from December 12th through December 16th. Temy, Phil and Sieg will be available to meet with potential investors, or with anyone wishing to purchase building lots at pre-development prices. We now have a first draft of the building lot layout on the site available for perusal. We still have to go through the entire official approval process and will shortly be contracting for the various studies and filings which need to be submitted to Panamanian authorities. With Phil right there now, helping move things along, progress will hopefully speed up a bit.
